2 pkgs crescent rolls (8 count)
two 8-ounce pkgs cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 egg, separated
Cream the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg yolk.
Roll out 1 package of crescent rolls. Put in bottom of 9x13 pan.
Pour cream cheese mixture on top of rolls.
Note from Carmen: At this point you can add a very thin layer of raspberry or your favorite flavor of jam. It should be just enough to color the top of the cream cheese. Another time, I added a layer of thinly sliced strawberries.
Place next package of crescent rolls on top of cream cheese mixture.
Froth egg white and spread on top of crescent rolls.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake 350° for 30-35 min.
