Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 lb almond paste
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 egg yolks
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp almond extract
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream the butter, almond paste, confectioner's sugar and egg yolks, until light. Add the flour and almond extract and mix until stiff. Shape into rings. (Draw circles on the underside of wax paper to help). Bake at 325° F for 30 minutes or until they are firm and golden.
Decorate with royal icing.
