I prefer this recipe to recipe #1 - it has just ahint of sweetness to it. If you use non-fat sour cream, this recipe isbasically fat-free.

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups flour
1 heaping tsp shortening
1 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Mix ingredients together. Add white flour until the batter is at rollingconsistancy - about 6 or 7 cups. On a floured surface, roll and cut intostrips. Shape into figure 8 or letter B. Bake for about 8 minutes oruntil light brown, in 375° F oven.
