Ingredients:
1 heaping cup Swedish peas (not split peas!)
1 ham bone
potatoes, diced
onions, diced
carrots, diced
pepper to taste
Directions:
Soak peas in cold water, in a kettle, for 1 1/2 hours.Pressure cook with the ham bone for 1 hour or simmer in pot 3 hours.Add diced or cup up potatoes and onions and ham from bone. Discardthe bone. Cook 20 minutes to cook vegetables. Can add diced carrots.Adjust water as needed. Add pepper to taste.
