CMN: This is my favorite way to cook asparagus!
(ok, so it's the only way I know to cook asparagus).
Ingredients:
4 pounds fresh asparagus -- trimmed
1/4 cup olive oil -- or vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup sesame seeds -- toasted
Directions:
Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a foil-lined 15-in. x 10-in. x
1-in. baking pan. Drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 12-15 minutes or until crisp-tender, turning
once. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Yield: 10-12 servings.
