Note: This recipe is almost too soft; not really like a dough at all, and the "cookies" come out extremely fragile. It was suggested that perhaps the sugar amounts were reversed -
that there should be more white sugar than powdered sugar,
but I have not tried this.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup confectioners sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 cup Crisco
1 egg
3 to 3 1/2 cups flour
salt
vanilla
Directions:
Mix together. Press into sandbakkle tins and bake.
